None of us can forget September 11th.  As a result of that event each of us searches for a way to recognize that day. Let our voices be raised and heard to tell the world as a lasting memorial all about our  heroes and thank them for what they have done.

Firemen and firewomen, policemen and policewomen, probies, assistants, desk sergeants, captains, lieutenants, all branches of the military, FBI, Reservists, National Guard and Coast Guard personnel, stockbrokers, Port Authority Police, and shopkeepers......all are heroes. Yet ask any of them how they felt being a hero and they become embarrassed and claim that they were just doing what had to be done. There is no boisterous, “look at me”, just quiet reflection of a job well done.  I wouldn’t be surprised at all that most of the heroes will never tell their story: they are too modest to do so. They don’t look upon themselves as extraordinary, but they do look at themselves as just ordinary folks helping someone else.  How great is that?

There have been newspaper articles and magazine articles, television interviews and a myriad of information about individual heroism, but no where could be found on the world wide web a place to chronicle these stories. Nor there is a place to thank those  individuals who made this World Trade Center disaster just a little bit easier.
